Hockney's iPad artworks provide inspiration to School of Art

Gilbert Riedelbauch, Head of Core Studies Workshop at the ANU School of Art, recently presented two of David Hockney’s latest works on the iPad which Hockney has shared for use as teaching tools.

Riedelbauch chose Hockney as a role model as his works showcase the possibilities of new technologies as art mediums. In addition to the iPad and iPhone Hockney is also known for experimenting in his work with fax machines, photocopiers and Polaroid pictures.
